The Way I See It

Note: Before you continue reading the final part of my Maybank series, I highly recommend you at least browse through part one and two first.

Last week I finally got my Maybankard Visa Debit.

I got it free of charge using only my MyKad and driver’s license.

The process was simple enough. All I had to do was fill up an application form, got my identification verified and wait for about 5 minutes to receive my new card at absolutely no charge at all.

Throughout this process, I was attended by a very helpful, knowledgeable and cheerful bank officer at the Bukit Bintang branch. Unfortunately I was only able to get her first name. It’s Nora.

She single-handedly restored some semblance of trust I have with Maybank.

That’s one thing, what’s more important is the fact that Maybank showed that, as a company, they can make customer’s life easier, they can cut the crap and not charge unnecessarily.

They can put people in front of policies and I’m happy about that.
